Carlos Warter, M.D., Ph.D.


Dr. Carlos Warter is an internationally-recognized author, physician, lecturer and pioneer in the mind-body-spirit approach to medicine for over 2O years. He is the author of numerous books in both English and Spanish ncluding Recovery of the Sacred, Soul Remembers (Bantam) and his newly released book Who Do You Think You Are? The Healing Power of Your Sacred Self (Bantam), which has been praised by former U.S. Senator Alan Cranston, Deepak Chopra M.D., John Gray Ph.D., Rabbi Zalman Schachter, Bernie Siegel M.D., Jack Canfield, and Carolyn Myss. His first book was prefaced by Nobel Prize Winner Pablo Neruda. Upcoming books include Chicken Soup for the Healing Soul, co-authored with Jack Canfield and Mark Victor Hansen.

Dr. Warter is a transpersonal psychotherapist, and trained medical doctor with Harvard postgraduate education. He has lectured extensively throughout Latin America, Europe, North America and the Middle East. In his presentations, Dr. Warter blends science, psychology, issues of identity, self-development, productivity and spirituality in a unique and powerful manner. His goal in teaching is to bring about the under-standing that values and awareness is the greatest asset for our rapidly evolving and challenging world. His work has been studied and practiced by over 70,000 people worldwide.

Born in Chile, Dr. Warter has been awarded the United Nations Peace Messenger and the Pax Mundi awards for his humanitarian efforts. He is also the founder of the World Health Foundation for Development and Peace, a non-profit, educational organization whose mission is to disseminate ideas and programs that generate greater health, well being and a higher standard of living across the world. He currently resides in Ocean Ridge, Florida with his wife and three children.
